HOW CAN I FIND OUT ABOUT THE VISA REQUIREMENTS FROM SPAIN?

Valid for any other country that has diplomatic relations with Israel.

Israel has visa waiver agreements with many countries. Before going to the Embassy, check if you need to obtain a visa to visit Israel (click  here  to download the list of countries with which Israel has a visa waiver agreement). It is important to note that this exemption is applicable only to visas for visits and passports (not to safe conducts).

B / 2 Visit visa

Who needs a tourist visa?

The tourist visa is intended for those citizens of countries that have not signed a visa waiver agreement with Israel. On  this link  You will be able to access the list of countries that have ratified such an agreement with Israel.

Any person who is in possession of a Spanish passport  you do not need a visa  of tourist to travel to Israel.

The tourist visa is intended for those who travel to Israel for a period not exceeding three months for tourism, business or pilgrimage purposes, for family visits, etc. The person who enters Israel with a tourist visa is prohibited from working in the country.

Tourist visa validity

This visa allows a single entry to Israel within three months from the date of issue. The duration of the stay will be established by the Border Control.

In the event that the visit entails leaving Israel and a new entry, we ask you to indicate this and emphasize it at the time of requesting the visa so that it allows two entries.

All tourists who wish to extend their stay in the country must request an extension at one of the offices of the Israel Immigration and Population Authority.

Visa application process

Those people who reside in Spain and who are in possession of a valid residence permit may send the documentation by postal mail (it is recommended that passports be sent by certified mail). After analyzing the documents and, as long as it is necessary, the applicant will be summoned to an interview at the Embassy.

Foreign citizens who are not residents of Spain must go to the Embassy and present the documentation in person. Go to section  Useful information  for everything related to the payment of the visa issuance fees.

You are informed that the management fee will not be refunded in the event that your visa is denied for whatever reason.

At the end of the process and after the issuance of the visa, we will contact you so that you can go to the Embassy to collect your passport and visa. Alternatively, and if your presence is not required to meet with the consul, you can hire a courier service to collect your passport. From that moment the responsibility will fall, then, solely and exclusively on the holder of the passport.

Duration of the process

Each type of visa follows a different process and, therefore, the issuance time may vary. The issuance of the visa can take from five to ten working days. The process can take up to 4-6 weeks in case the applicant is a national of one of the following countries: Indonesia, Iraq, South Sudan, Jordan, Mauritania, Mali, Malaysia, Egypt, Morocco or Tunisia.
