TERMS AND CONDITIONS
OF OUR SERVICES
This Service Agreement ("Agreement") is entered into by and between Biblical Trips, a company registered in Israel under number 324537208 ("Biblical Trips" or "we"), and you, the participant ("Participant" or "you").
This Terms and Conditions document is integrated with the Conditions document (hereinafter jointly referred to as the “Contractual Documents”). These documents must be signed by the group’s designated representative, and such signature will constitute full agreement and acceptance of all terms set forth in both documents, including any supplementary documents (if applicable).
The Contractual Documents will be sent by Biblical Trips in the same email. If you do not receive them, you must notify us immediately at sales@biblicaltrips.agency so they can be resent in a timely manner.
1. RESPONSIBILITY OF BIBLICAL TRIPS
Biblical Trips is responsible for the organization and provision of the land tour package in Israel and/or the corresponding countries, as agreed upon in each individual contract.
Biblical Trips shall not be held liable for:
-
Conflicts with airlines or other passenger transport service providers.
-
Additional hotel costs incurred by and on behalf of the traveler.
-
Any currency fluctuations. In case of significant changes in exchange rates, a currency surcharge may be applied.
Likewise, Biblical Trips shall not be responsible for losses, delays, additional expenses, or inconveniences caused directly or indirectly by force majeure or other events beyond its control.
In exceptional cases, and to ensure the quality of the trip or the safety of the travelers, Biblical Trips may modify the travel plans, partially or fully, without prior notice.
2. SCOPE OF SERVICE
2.1 We offer religious and tour packages in Israel, which include: land transportation, accommodations, sightseeing, licensed guides in accordance with the Tourism Services Law (1976), luggage handling at hotels, entrance fees to religious and historical sites, and logistical support as per itinerary.
2.2 International flights, travel or cancellation insurance, visas, tips, and personal expenses are not included unless expressly stated.
3. BOOKING AND PAYMENT
3.1 To confirm a group booking, a non-refundable deposit of 20% of the total package price is required, unless otherwise specified in the contract. This must be accompanied by at least one copy of the group coordinator’s passport. This deposit ensures the reservation of accommodations, flights, and other services at the agreed price.
3.2 Final payment must be made 45 days prior to departure or at the time of booking if within this period.
3.3 We accept credit card payments (issued in the passenger’s name), bank transfers, and PayPal in USD or EUR.
A. Initial Deposit
Biblical Trips is entitled to require a deposit of 20% of the individual total price per registered person to secure the selected travel package.
The deposit must be paid exclusively via bank transfer.
We do not accept payments through Western Union, MoneyGram, or similar services, as these are prohibited for tourism business purposes under Israeli law.
B. Bank Transfer Fees and Instructions
All bank transfer fees—both from the sending and receiving banks—are the responsibility of the client. The transfer must be marked as “OUR” to indicate the client assumes all charges.
For credit card payments, please contact our accounts department (sales@biblicaltrips.agency) for information on possible surcharges.
C. Tips in Israel and Middle Eastern Countries
Tips are mandatory and set at a minimum of USD 10 per person per day, according to the duration of the tour.
The group leader must collect this amount in advance and divide it into two equal envelopes, to be given to the guide and the driver on the last day of the tour in the presence of the entire group.
This amount is not included in the trip price.
4. CANCELLATIONS
4.1 If the client cancels within 14 days of paying the deposit or receiving the information document, they are entitled to a full refund in accordance with Israel’s Consumer Protection Law.
4.2 Cancellations made more than 30 days before the tour start date will incur a penalty of the 20% deposit.
4.3 Cancellations between 30 and 15 days before the start of the tour will be subject to a 50% penalty on the total paid.
4.4 Cancellations less than 15 days before departure or no-shows will be charged 100% of the tour price. For this reason, we strongly recommend purchasing cancellation insurance in your home country. For legal reasons, Biblical Trips cannot offer or process this type of insurance.
4.5 In case of cancellation due to force majeure (wars, conflicts, closures), a credit valid for 12 months will be issued for future travel, deducting 20% and administrative costs, or a refund of the total payment minus 20% and any administrative or bank fees.
5. FORCE MAJEURE MODIFICATIONS
5.1 Biblical Trips reserves the right to modify itineraries, accommodations, or services due to safety, weather, or operational reasons.
5.2 In such cases, our liability is limited to refunding the value of the services not provided.
6. PARTICIPANT REQUIREMENTS
6.1 You must hold a passport valid for at least six months beyond your return date. If you reside abroad, you must ensure all visas and residence permits are valid, including a Green Card if applicable. It is your responsibility to have all documents in order at the time of payment. If you are unable to board a plane, cruise, or other form of international transportation due to invalid documentation, you are not entitled to any refund in accordance with the Consumer Protection Law and applicable commercial laws.
6.2 You must inform us of any health condition, disability, or special requirement at the time of booking.
6.3 Participants must behave respectfully at all religious sites and follow the instructions of licensed guides.
6.4 The client is responsible for obtaining any required international transit permits, such as Israel’s ETA. Without this, entry into Israel will be denied. The client is also responsible for obtaining all necessary permits in due time.
7. TRAVEL INSURANCE
7.1 Travel insurance is not included. Biblical Trips is not liable for damages outside the scope of section 2.1 “Scope of Service.” All other damages are the responsibility of the traveler.
7.2 We strongly recommend purchasing a travel insurance policy covering cancellations, lost luggage, medical emergencies, missed flights, etc. We can assist you in obtaining a policy (at no extra cost from us, only the insurer’s fee) through our partner agencies.
Once you receive your insurance number, please send a copy to: sales@biblicaltrips.agency.
If Biblical Trips facilitates the purchase of the policy on your behalf, it is offered as a courtesy service only, and we accept no responsibility for the insurer’s performance or coverage.
In case of an incident, Biblical Trips is not obligated to file claims on your behalf, although we may assist at our discretion if allowed by the insurer. We will help arrange necessary medical care, but all related expenses are the sole responsibility of the traveler.
7.3 Biblical Trips will inform clients of any changes to land or air reservations. However, only a legal advisor can assist you in case of failure to comply with requirements resulting in the loss of the land or air package. Biblical Trips is neither obligated nor authorized to provide legal assistance in such cases.
8. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
8.1 Biblical Trips acts as an intermediary between the client and service providers (hotels, transportation, guides, etc.).
8.2 We are not responsible for the actions or omissions of third parties, except in cases of proven negligence directly attributable to our company.
8.3 Our total liability is limited to the amount actually paid by the participant.
9. PARTICIPANT CONDUCT
9.1 We reserve the right to remove any participant whose behavior negatively impacts the group experience or safety.
9.2 No refund will be given in such cases, and any additional expenses will be the participant’s responsibility.
Inappropriate behaviors include but are not limited to:
-
Physical or verbal aggression towards group members, Biblical Trips staff, hotel personnel, law enforcement, soldiers, or others.
-
Disruptive behavior or inciting hostility within the group.
-
Indecent exposure or partial/full nudity in public.

Use or possession of non-medicinal drugs. Prescription medications must be reported in advance with a valid doctor’s note.
-
Causing property damage or theft.
-
Defamation or divisive conduct.
Complaints regarding services must be submitted discreetly and respectfully to Biblical Trips staff, who commit to investigating and resolving them promptly.
Biblical Trips reserves the right to remove from the bus any individual creating group discomfort due to personal opinions or other causes. Every traveler has paid for their package and deserves to enjoy the tour in peace.
10. USE OF IMAGES AND TESTIMONIALS
10.1 Biblical Trips reserves the right to take photographs and videos during the trip for promotional use on social media, websites, and other media.
10.2 If you do not wish to be photographed or recorded, please notify us in writing before the trip begins.
11. DATA PROTECTION
11.1 Your personal data will be handled in accordance with Israeli privacy laws.
11.2 It will be used solely for logistical, contractual, and promotional purposes by Biblical Trips and will not be shared without your consent.
12. GOVERNING LAW AND JURISDICTION
12.1 This Contract is governed by the laws of the State of Israel.
12.2 Any disputes shall be settled exclusively by the competent courts of Tel Aviv-Jaffa or Jerusalem.
13. PRICING
13.1. Prices are based on double room occupancy, with a maximum of 10% of rooms allowed as triple rooms relative to total double rooms.
13.2. Single (private) rooms are subject to an additional Single Supplement fee.
13.3. All "free passengers" will be accommodated in double or triple rooms.
13.4. Prices are only guaranteed once full payment is received.
14. AMENDMENTS AND ACCEPTANCE
Biblical Trips may amend this document or related contractual documents, fully or partially, without prior notice, informing affected clients in due time.
No payments will be accepted before the signed contract and budget are received, at least from the group leader as representative.
Signing the quotation document, making a deposit, or any payment constitutes full acceptance of these terms and all related contractual documents (Terms, Conditions, and their annexes).
This Terms and Conditions document does not modify or override the quotation/contract document, but rather supplements and clarifies it. The quotation/contract remains the primary legal document at all times.
